PartyPoker.com Beta Client is now available for download to all players.
The new features are 1/ Resizing of any individual table, 2/ Table tiling, and 3/ Table cascading.
This beta client is being made available to the PartyPoker’s players for compatibility testing and to solicit feedback. If you are not comfortable with testing a beta client, please download the existing client.
1/ Resizing of any individual table
You can resize any individual table by dragging the left or right hand side edge of a table in or out. The entire table will resize to scale.
Table resizing works on all tables and with all monitor resolutions.
The minimum size a table can be resized to is 486x367. The maximum remains at 796x583.
Current known Issues:
When table size is reduced there are areas where text and/or images will appear grainy, and possibly overlap other areas.
Table resizing is currently not available on 7 Card Stud and Omaha tables.
2/ Table tiling
Table Tiling will rearrange multiple tables to fit onto your monitor. Depending on the number of tables you have open; tiling will automatically adjust the size of the tables to fit.
In this layout you will be able to see a majority of each table.
When tiling is available you will see two small boxes in the top right corner of the table. Click on the small box with four squares to tile tables.
Tiling will only work on monitors with a resolution of 1024x768 and higher and with two or more tables open.
Current known Issues:
Players using multiple monitors will be able to use the tiling feature on the main monitor only. The tiling button is hidden (disabled) on any table moved to an extended monitor.
3/ Table cascading
Table Cascading will arrange multiple tables in a symmetrical pattern across the monitor. Cascading will not resize any tables; they will remain at default size.
In this layout you will be able to see parts of each table that are open.
When cascading is available you will see two small boxes in the top right corner of the table. Click on the small box with four overlapping squares to cascade tables.
Cascading will only work on monitors with a resolution of 1024x768 and higher and with two or more tables open.
Current known Issues:
Players using multiple monitors will be able to use the cascade feature on the main monitor only. The cascade button is hidden (disabled) on any table moved to an extended monitor.
